The users can easily download their Neutral Code from their license dashboard, making the compliance process easier and business-friendly under Medical Devices Rules, 2017.

Under the new regulatory regime, manufacturers holding a valid manufacturing license can now directly apply for a Neutral Code for export through the Medical Devices Online Portal. This new update replaces the traditional manual issuance process controlled by the Central Licensing Authority, thus streamlining the overall compliance process.

The Neutral Code acts as a proprietary identifier and guarantees the confidentiality of the manufacturer’s identity in export. The feature is available through an option on the license dashboard accessible to the users, which makes the procedure fast and effective.
